This year I tested a new route that was pretty much at the “back of my house” in Norway. It is the old postal route that is quite famous for tourists. In total, it is 700 km long. The mountain Veten was on our way, so we decided to take this top (486m) as well. We were not that lucky with the weather, thus the grey pictures. Nevertheless, it was a lovely, relatively easy path, lots of animals on our way, including the Norwegian Fjord horses. The mountain climb was steep, but nothing too extreme. As it was raining it was rather muddy. Good test for my new Salomon hiking shoes.
I found this site to show the map of Veten hike. We did back-and-forth route but one can find several paths leading up and down Veten.

Can’t wait til my next walks in Norway. Have you been to Norway? Which is your favorite route in Norway?
