Relax your muscles with exercises, treatments and massage
Walking is such a nice activity that you might not even notice when you have walked more than your muscles are used to. You go home and feel the sore muscles. Or maybe you were unfortunate and stepped on a small moving stone and the result was a slightly sprained ankle? Or you just wish to do something as a thank you to your legs that carry all the weight and let you enjoy the walking. Ibiza is great for training and walking opportunities, use it and after the walking relax with following exercise, treatment or massage in Ibiza.
I don’t know about you, but to me, it is easy to forget to stretch and warm up my muscles before the walk and I sometimes forget to do anything after the walk besides resting horizontally (and not going for a walk or training the next day). But it really important to help your legs and muscles cope with the extra stress you put on them. And who doesn’t like little pampering? You can also just call me and make an appointment to have a massage in Ibiza but it is really easy to take care of yourself as well.
Here’s some of my tips and tricks for after walk thank-you-legs procedures
Before you go to any of the videos, the first thing is to put your feet up when you get home. So lay down on your back on your bed or on the floor or wherever you feel comfortable and put your legs up against the wall. Hold them like that for 5 minutes. Feels good? Now, other exercises and treatments:
Hamstring relaxing after workout
Hot and cold water procedure (simpler than I thought)
Last, but not least, self-massage with tennis balls
Tennis is a great game suitable for almost everyone and now you can use the old balls for self-massage. If you do not have any tennis balls, you can have a look at this video of self-massage for legs.
