Lake Viljandi circular walking route
Eesti keeles: Proovime matkaradasid: vaheldusrikas Viljandi järve rada
It is spring-time and that means the nature is all blossoming and tracks are all opening. There are a lot of walking and hiking routes in Estonia that I haven’t visited and now there is one less. This walk I did around lake Viljandi is so accessible that its a shame if you don’t do it! It is also very interesting with variation of paths from asphalt to small forest paths. It has great views and spots for picnic, if that is what you are looking for. This was my first longer walk this year, it was such a lovely and warm weather that I almost felt like I was back walking in Ibiza! 12 km gave just enough a wake-up-call as I am also preparing for my this year’s 7 mountain hike in Bergen, Norway.
For me, as usual, it was one quite fast walk, 2h, 12,8 km. The official route can be found here.

It is great to be back on walking track! Hope you will find yours! Then let me know where you go and what you like about it! Don’t forget to take care of what you take with you for a hike.
